Complete honesty is important to the integrity and value of the coaching relationship.  The client’s willingness to be completely truthful will be treated with ultimate respect.  As a coach, I will adhere to the confidentiality policies as outlined in the International Coach Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics.  Including:  “I will respect the confidentiality of my client’s information, except as otherwise authorized by my client, or as required by law.  I will obtain agreement from my client before releasing their name as client or reference, or any other client- identifying information.  I will obtain agreement from the person being coached before releasing information to another person compensating me”.
